Risk assessment and hazard analysis
Since 1995 the risk assessment (former hazard analysis) is the indispensable presupposition for CE-marking and declaration of conformity according to Machine Directive 98/37/EG. According to the revised form of the Machine Directive (2006/42/EG validated 29th December 2009) the risk assessment has to be documented. The like applies to the manufacturers of pressure equipment according to Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EG. They also have to issue a risk assessment for all their products.
We offer support at issuing a risk assessment according to Machine Directive 2006/42/EG or Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EG.
This can contain the following tasks:
- moderation of an initial risk assessment at your place together with the constructors concerned.
- risk estimation and evaluation
- research of standards and complete documentation of the initial risk assessment
- supply of necessary tools (risk catalogues, acquisition forms)
A risk
assessment is a suitable base for preparation of the user manual and operating
instruction. Everything concerning the safety of a machine or device is
recorded here.
Thus it is reasonable to first issue a risk assessment and the technical documentation afterwards. This is why we offer this service completely and in this way lower the editorial expanses for you.
